The weekend snow continues to melt in Abney at a slow drip, the overcast skies are threatening rain but it is nearly Christmas, so have a good one everyone.

Last night the snow came down in the freezing air, and the result is dry powder ssnow. It is rubbish for snowfights as the snowballs don’t hold together, but it looks like a Christmas card in the cemetery. Compared to the rest of the country we are still getting off lightly, about 2 1/2 inches deep (6 cms).
